Chicago Trip

This weekend Jordan and I went to Chicago. I am used to going when it is nice out and sunny. This weekend it was cold, so it was a bit of a downer. However, being back in Peru reminds me of how I want to live there, so I started looking at the CPS Human Resources website. Since they have a residency rule, and you have to actually live in Chicago and not the suburbs, they offer housing incentives. I looked them up and a lot waive the security deposit and first and/or second months rent for CPS employees, which is awesome since that was my primary concern (affording the down payments and such). So now I am more motivated than ever. LOL. The picture I put is of us on the CTA train. Right after I took this picture, this lady got on and this old dude starting flirting with her. Here was their convo - I call it Lover's Paradise

Lady - I have a boyfriend

Dude - Well I have a girlfriend

Lady - Want to know how I met my boyfriend...Funny story

Dude - Where?

Lady - A mental hospital

Dude - Oh (the proceeds to ignore the lady)

Lady - Fine, because of that I was going to share one of these with you (wave's package of mints), but now I am not.

Dude - (continues to ignore her)

Lady - (throws a mint at the dude)

Dude (Gets up and moves closer to the lady but turns his back to her)

Lady - Sir, you're handsome

Dude - So why don't you kiss me.

The lady gets up and walks over to him, and starts making out with him. Then sits next to him and cuddles with him and smooches for the whole train ride. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen and I was dying laughing the whole time. I wish I had taken a picture.

The alumni game was annoying. I sat next to these girls who were drinking (on school property might I add) and they kept talking about dildos, and said "shits gonna be crazy" every 10 seconds. I don't know what shit was and how it was going to be crazy so I cannot really elaborate on that. But, they were like Natalie times 10 if that helps you picture it better.
Now it's back to good ol' Peru. Oh boy

Fuck my life

Today my sister wanted to go to McDonalds and it took 27 minutes to get through line...no joke. And all we wanted was ice cream, and guess what? They didn't have any. Then, after 27 minutes of waiting for a cheeseburger, we went to Sonic. I got my ice cream and as I was turning, all my ice cream fell off my cone! Fuck my life again. Then, this topped it all. At the stop light, my sister's friend pulled up to us. My sister rolled down her window and her friend said "Hey Sarah, is that your girlfriend?" OMG. I am always worried people think Sarah and I are lesbians together and that confirmed it FUCK MY LIFE. lol. Sorry, im pmsy and am very frustrated. lol. let's hope i don't oversleep two hours for practicum tomorrow ;)

Standing on my soap box

I know I am guilty of wanting marriage and only seeming to talk about it, but today is when I am going to stop. Instead of only pestering Jordan to get married (and end up pushing him away), I am going to take a step back and appreciate him for who he is. Marriage is a ceremony that announces to the world the vows that Jordan and I have already made between our two hearts. The ceremony can wait. Right now, I just want to appreciate the opportunities I have for my education, and student teaching and put all that I can into it, as these are what are going to affect the future that will belong to Jordan and me. When the time is right, it will come. Me nagging is not going to do anything.

Engagement Rings WHOA

You guys! All I can say is LOL. I like how you all posted pictures of the engagement rings. As much as I want to for myself, I cannot because 1. Jordan will get mad because he says the more I talk about him proposing the less of a surprise it's going to be 2. I have three picked out that I like and it's a surprise for which one Jordan picks and I want us all to be surprised! But, I did look at theknot.com today, so don't worry! Jordan and I are starting to work out so I can be as prefect as Nikki thinks Lorrie is ;) We have this medicine ball and Jordan is my personal trainer. He wanted me to do this one work out on it, but he looked so gay doing it (literally) and I took a picture to put on here, but he deleted it. Today's agenda -More Homework!!

TOO MUCH TO DO!

So, Jordan and I are planning to go to Chicago this weekend for the CSU Baseball Alumni game. We have decided for a month now to not go, and now that the week is here, we are both having 2nd thoughts. So, we are going! We are leaving Friday after my practicum (which is also Jordan's birthday) and going straight there. We will come back Sunday realllly late at night. I only have 100000000000000000000000000 things to do until Wednesday night (research paper, lesson plan, literature assignment, 5 discussion boards, etc. etc. etc. etc.) Me? A complainer? Nah! LOL. I want to do ChaCha but everyone I have talked to (Jordan, Jeremy, Jeremy's mom, other Jordan, Julie...) say it's a scam. Me? - I am still deciding. Since I have a lot to do, I am going to keep this short. More to come later!
